Stefan and Shawntel Wehmeyer joined BVSA from Grace City Church (GCC) in Sullivan, MO, where Stefan served as Community Pastor.  GCC has been a supporting church of BVSA for many years, and the Wehmeyer's have been with them from the beginning.

Ministry has been at the forefront of the Wehmeyer's lives for sometime.  In recent years they have aided in planting GCC, and also in planting a local youth center in the community, where both Stefan and Shawntel have dedicated much of their time. While serving in the youth center, they would always open their home to those that needed additional needs met . They have had a total of 5 foster kids in their home, ranging from 11-16 years old.  Their heart is for people... especially the youth and the lost.  

The Wehmeyer's joined BVSA in 2020 and are now located in West Africa (specific country and location undisclosed) working on language skills and cultural acclimation as we prepare to plant a new academy.  They are excited to reach an unreached people group in a context that will challenge them spirituality, mentally, physically and emotionally.

Family Support:  The Wehmeyer's family support covers their rent, groceries, french school, and all standard monthly bills. Their budget has been reviewed and approved by both their sending agency as well as BVSA.
