Carter & Danielle Jackson

Carter and Danielle came into the BVSA family as two single adults who didn't know each other... and have since gotten married!  We're excited to have the Jackson's join our Honduras Academy.  Carter is a native of Lake City, FL, and a graduate of Samford University in Birmingham, AL.  He worked at Samford for two years after graduation as an Admission Counselor recruiting incoming freshman from the state of Florida.

Carter has been close to Jesus from a young age, and global missions has been close to his heart for a long time.  He has visited BVSA-Guatemala many times over the years, and as a teenager was part of the CO2 Youth Group that raised the funds to purchase the land where the Guatemala Academy is now located!

Danielle is from Jacksonville FL, and played NCAA Division I collegiate soccer at the University of Florida (3 years) and Lipscomb University (1 year).  She graduated in May 2020 from Lipscomb, with a degree in Kinesiology.

Danielle gave her life to Christ her freshman year in college and she has never looked back. In the summer of 2019, going into her senior year at Lipscomb University, Danielle felt the call from the Lord to go into missions. As God would have it, just a few days later she was introduced to BVSA, and she knew this was the door the Lord had opened.  Throughout her years at UF and Lipscomb, the Lord was stripping her identity of soccer and performance and molding her heart to love people and live for the higher purpose of the gospel. By the time she felt the call from the Lord to go into missions in the summer of 2019, she didn't waste any time in saying "yes" to the call.

Carter and Danielle will be arriving at the Honduras Academy in late 2020, and will serve and train there until God leads them to a permanent location.  You can contact them at carterejackson@gmail.com, follow their blog here and see the information below to support them financially.
