When someone says "yes" to the missionary call ("here I am, send me!") and God responds, "Africa", or "Central America"...

the monthly bills don't suddenly disappear.  In some cases, they increase!

Without question, one of the most stressful things during this transition is asking people to donate monthly.

Typically only a precious few will commit.

But it's those precious few that God uses to bless the missionary with

paid bills and food on the table.

No words can adequately explain how hard the season of "transition to the field" can be.

Preparing to leave what you know and love: family, friends, homes, schools and comforts...

for what you don't know: culture, language, new risks and insecurities....

brings a whirlwind of emotional chaos.

And the enemy whispers, "no one cares... no one is behind you."

A missionary will "go" no matter what.  They have heard the call, and there's no stopping them.

They know in the end that God will meet their needs!

But the formation of a monthly support team is like hearing the words:

"don't worry... just stay focused on the mission... we've got you covered."

These new missionaries depart for the mission field soon.

WOULD YOU CONSIDER JOINING THE MONTHLY SUPPORT TEAM FOR ONE OF THESE FAMILIES?

Remember church... goers can't "go" without senders!
